National prize winner joins ranks at Liquidity

Building on the success of its first six months in business, Birmingham based Liquidity has expanded its team of financial experts with the addition of several new recruits.

And such is the reputation that the sales finance company has established for itself that the latest newcomer to the company is a national prizewinner!

Paul Housley, who joins the team as Head of Operations after a three year spell with Royal Bank of Scotland, has been named Factors and Discounters Association's (FDA) Top Student for 2004.

As a graduate of the FDA's Diploma course, the industry's leading body's highest accolade, Mr Housley has been named top student from a field of fellow graduates across the UK.

"Having completed my studies with the FDA, I am now relishing the opportunity to be involved in a new start company and all the challenges that it brings," commented Mr Housley.

"Since joining Liquidity, I have been involved in several aspects of the business from grass roots level upwards and I am enjoying seeing the results of my work first hand and contributing to the growth of the company."

As part of Liquidity's on going expansion, four recruits have joined throughout the company since last October, including Claire Barry, who is responsible for business development and initiating deals.

Joining from Lloyds TSB, Birmingham born Miss Barrie graduated in Finance and Business from Cardiff University.

"All of our team members complement each other in their skills and backgrounds and are certain to help us build further on our early successes."

Liquidity was last week awarded Best Newcomer at The Birmingham Post's Deal Of The Year Awards and in April the company will be hosting the inaugural "West Midlands Evolution Breakfast" with Sir Digby Jones.
